![]() ![]() There are many things that may not be obvious to a new user including just how slick the interface is in terms of drag-and-drop and how easy it is to bounce audio for re-editing or experimenting with. The guy has a nice manner and no annoying posturing or influencer crap. I knew a lot of those tips already but I’ve been using Bitwig since it was in Alpha. #Bitwig studio quantize software#That’s why i still wonder why o why bitwig still does not support straight forward audiofile to midi converting…īut i guess, that’s next…realtime pitchdetection, singalong ur midi, so to say AND an embedded video player along the time line to really harvest all it’s potential for working to picture…Īnd if u ask me…once we’re there, this piece of software can’t get any better anymore…īut let’s see…they already came up with lot’s of little things that were unimagineable before… Which leaded to the miracle of everything can modulate everything anywhere, anytime, all over the place…options u still need to involve max workarounds if u wanna do this in ableton… The main difference between these two most modern daw approaches is, that all midi came later to the ableton party, which focussed on the miracle of liquid realtime audio treatment quite a while before implementing also midi…while bitwig is handling BOTH right from the start as equal things…back and forth, making no difference between them at all… ![]() Same with it’s sampler device…many complain bitwigs lack of abletons xtra slicer sampler device, while not realizing what they get instead if they’d only dig a little deeper into bitwigs sampleroptions that can go far beyond if u only give it a second thought and forget about abletons way to deal with such things for a second…and start to figure out all the other ways to get there… #Bitwig studio quantize manual#…truu…but u can place additional onsets any where u want and kind of “warp” those slices in there inner length…also in ableton u need to place additional warp markers if u wanna avoid too far stretched areas, affecting pre or post placed events within an audio snippet…īut yes, it’s a bit more straight forward workflow in ableton…while in the end u achieve same results if u only get used to the little different approach…it needs a little more manual and direct handling…but i experience better results with that little lack of instant handling comfort…and it leads to other overall edit advantages like operators…bitwigs take on all kinds of elektrons conditional trigs…same same!!! in midi as in audio…which is one of the many “little” detail but killer features in this daw… ![]()
